How to do??

If character low in health and have all 3 character full musou then press L2+R2. You see, the buttons where you change characters, push them both.
Or just put the teamwork upgrade on just about everyone's weapons.

I have noticed certain teams of three get unique musou combos though, not just the taking turns then big bang at the end thing.
Just think of character groupings that make sense in some way (oath brothers, Three Kingdoms leaders, Three Unifiers, Three Sun children, Three Mystics, etc.), and you should be able to find the combos.

J - Jump Button.
S - Standard attack button.

C(#)-ex: For tech types, pressing R1 instead of Charge attack in the string.

C(#): When to use Charge attack after pre ambling with standard attacks.
[e.g. C4 means you press Standard attack 3 times and then Charge attack]

JS-(#) - Jumping than pushing the Standard attack button in the air.
[e.g. JS-(#) The number of times that the S button is to be pressed after jumping.]

JC-(#) - Jumping than pushing the Charge attack button in the air.
[e.g. JC-(#) The number of times that the C button is to be pressed after jumping.]

JT-S(#)Jumping then pushing the jump button again to perform a Aerial thrust followed by the Standard attack button in the air.

C1-2. A forward downwards slash followed with an upwards slash.

He will do an extra move which looks like the reverse of Xu Huang's JC.
He will go spinning upwards instead of spinning while coming down.
